The ISYF programme will target top science students from premier schools. To ensure that delegates benefit fully from the experience, these young science students should: 

1. Be between 16 and 17 years of age as in Jan 2009;
2. Have substantial experience in science research or competitions;
3. Possess good oral proficiency in English;
4. Be academically able; and
5. Possess enthusiasm and strong interest in forging ties with fellow students from all over the world.
